Medium size caddis larva that craft unique spiral-shaped cases of pebbles and tiny bits of shells. Found in sandy-bottomed still waters or eddies of slow-moving streams. As they pupate, gather in stones and seal cases to rocks in silken webs. Generally emerge in June & July.
