Perhaps the best known American mayfly.
Originated by Theodore Gordon, noted as
the "Father of fly fishing."  Also called "Gordon
Quill."  1/2".  Abundant early hatches on
classic eastern rivers.  Pale olive/yellow.  Natural
hatches from nymphal skin at bottom and swims
to surface.
