Perhaps best known member of this genus.  Primarily 
eastern rivers, but close relatives in the west.  1/8th".
Morning emerger from July to October.  Found in vegetation,
detritus or silty/gravelly bottoms of streams & rivers.
Adults are very small, dark flies with white wings.
Often called "tricos" (short for genus name.)
