Building Fly Rods

Lesson Plans

Building fly rods is an optional activity for NFSP schools.  It is most suited to teachers/schools who have committed to a more in depth application of the overall Cast A Fly, Catch A Student curriculum.  We recommend that the teacher plan to devote 8 hours to this Lesson Plan.  It is most successful in grades 9-12, as it does involve some patience and attention to detail to produce the best results.
