This popular name is used for a variety of species
in the Baetis family.  Delicate, olive-bodied insect, found
from Colorado to Montana.  Abundant in shallow, swift
streams with clean stone bottoms.  3/8ths".  Multiple
hatches per year, April through September.  Often called
"BWO's".
