"BH Prince Nymph"

An attractor type nymph pattern common to many fly boxes.  Works in streams and stillwater by suggesting a variety of immature insect forms.  Bead head styles should be used in a broad range of sizes.

"Bitch Creek"
species: stoneflies
 type: nymph

sizes: #4 - 12

Well-known western nymph.  Designed to imitate stonefly nymphs, but can be  effective as a "generic."  Often helpful to have a variety of "shades" & flies tied with different materials.

Fish: trout, panfish

"Black Ant"
species: ant
 type: specialty

sizes: #10 - 20

Imitates the black ant very effectively. Keep a variety of sizes on hand as trout can be very selective by the time they are interested in this insect.  Best in slow or still water.

Fish: trout, panfish

"Black Beauty"
species: midge pupa
 type: nymph

sizes: #16 - 22

Very small nymph used in stillwater situations.  Often productive when "all else fails" and fish are taking emerging or suspended nymphs.  In some lakes with very clear water, long leaders (15' or more) may be needed with these flies.

Fish: trout, panfish
