"Golden Stone Nymph"
species: stonefly nymph
 type: nymph

sizes: #6 - 10

Effective standard nymph pattern for use where golden stoneflies are found.  A useful fly in streams with characteristic rock bottoms.  Fish deep with and without weight on the fly or leader.

Fish: trout, panfish

"Grannom Pupa"
species: caddis pupa
 type: nymph

sizes: #14 - 20

A rather generic imitation of caddis pupa.  Long hackle fibers show movement in water, suggestive of emerging insect.  Fish with action.

Fish: trout, panfish

"Grasshopper"
species: grasshoppers
 type: dry

sizes: #4 - 12

Grasshoppers are a favorite fly in the summer months when live grasshoppers frequently appear on rivers, streams and creeks.  Fished just off the overhanging vegetation, these big "bugs" can bring big strikes.

Fish: trout, panfish, bass

"Gray Caddis"
species: caddis adults
 type: dry

sizes: #12 - 18

Another "tried & true" fly to fish dry where a variety of adult caddis are on the water. Because caddis do not "dwell" on the water's surface, this fly is often fished by imparting some "action" to it.

Fish: trout, panfish

"Green Caddis Pupa"
species: caddis
 type: nymph

sizes: #14 - 22

Caddis pupa are widespread and this
pattern style is used in a variety of regions and water types.  Fished wet.  Color is often very critical to success and having yellow, tan & orange is usually helpful.

Fish: trout, panfish

"Green Caddis Emerger"
species: caddis pupa
 type: nymph

sizes: #16 - 22

Emerging (hatching) caddis like this have a "rough" appearance.  Like the natural, they suggest an insect that is coming out of its immature case/shell as it becomes an adult, winged version.

Fish: trout, panfish
